This work of modern-art-gonzo journalism is listed with Interpol and The Art Loss Register, according to Miami Beach police detectives who investigated Cases #2010-133-858 and #2011-134-200, which reported the theft of “Kunt” from Shock Nightclub, 1437-39 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.

MIAMI BEACH MAYOR AND MIAMI HERALD EDITORS KNEW THAT THOUSANDS OF INTERNATIONAL PARTYGOERS WERE IN CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER OF CEILING COLLAPSE BUT DID NOTHING TO WARN TRAVELERS AND GENERAL PUBLIC AT SHOCK NIGHTCLUB. — “Kunt”, by *Victor-Hugo Vaca II*, at *Shock*, as seen on television, print newspapers and magazines.

Truth be told, the investigation was a joke. Despite surveillance cameras being located at all entrance and exits as well as throughout the nightclub, police never viewed the footage to ascertain who stole the enormous painting.
